We all know the health benefits of omega 3 and that is one of the reasons why I love my seafood and why I always opt for one whenever I go out and eat.

So it was an easy choice for me when I saw what Chilli’s had to offer from their savory seafood menu. I opted for their Tequila Lime Fish steak made from white dory fish steak dipped in their non-alcoholic tequila-lime marinade, grilled & topped with garlic-lime butter. Served with rice & seasonal veggies. All I can say is my BFF, Emila, and me was speechless as we enjoyed our lunch! lol!

Marzie and B came later and joined us with Chilli’s Southwestern eggrolls starter as they already had lunch. This starter was a crispy flour tortilla filled with smoked chicken, black beans, corn, jalapeƱos Jack cheese, red peppers and spinach. Served with avacado-ranch dressing. Another yums!

All in all and awesome afternoon with friends and great food!

I’m not sure what is the English word for this dish but all I can say is whatever it is called in any language, it is yummy! This one is cooked by my uncle who was nice enough to cook it for me on my last visit home to Singapore. Mom has asked me if I wanted her to cook this dish for me and of course I told her “YES” but it seems she didn’t have time to go to the market to get the materials for it so when she mentioned this to my uncle (who incidentally has a food stall at the hawker center near my home) he decided to cook for me instead!

Bistik Tulang

Good thing I wasn’t wearing any rings that day when I was enjoying this with bread or else it would be quite a challenge to look for gold wedding rings if it happens to get mixed up with the gravy.. lol!

Have you tried CP Instant Meals? Well I have and I absolutely love their “Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang”. It’s tasty and easy to “prepare”. Just pop into your microwave oven and you’ll have an absolutely delightful meal in about 6minutes!

We also tried their “Fried Rice” which wasn’t bad either though the “Nasi Lemak” is my absolute favourite. In fact I just had one for my “sahur” or early breakfast today! Hmm.. I really need to stock up now as I just ran out and maybe get some after I bought my watch later today.

Cheerio…
