Blast From the Past: SAWA91 - Baking Tool

Anyone still remember this very handy baking gadget?

I reckon in it’s popular days, most women will have one or even two (like my mom) in their kitchen. I loved this gadget. It’s so handy when you’re making cookies or biscuits. All you need to do is prepare the dough, stuff it in the gadget and press the handle (I reckon there are little cotter pin that makes SAWA 91 works) and within minutes, you’ll have a tray full of beautiful cookies all ready to bake! It’s also handy to make icing on cakes though a little practice is necessary to do it just perfect.

I wonder what happened to mommy’s SAWA 91. I would love to get my hands on it!

Resident's Night Party at My Condo

So it didn’t rain and we attended the poolside party that I mentioned in my previous post… and I was glad we did because we had a nice time. The food was delightfully delicious (glad they picked an awesome caterer) and the ambiance was really very party-ish with tents and stage. Even the weather co-operated that night.

Anyway, here was what was served that night.

We also had Satay but I didn’t manage to take picture of that.

Poolside BBQ Party Tonight

My condominium management is having a party tonight to celebrate the re-opening of the swimming pool that has been closed for the past two months. Apparently it needed a lot of maintenance work and I think even the replacement of salt cell. So anyway, it is done now and the management has decided to throw a poolside bbq dinner complete with karaoke session tonight. Me and Azwaj are planning to go unless it rains of course. I’ll post pictures of event tonight :)
